Meet the Team
Trond Bergquist
With more than 25 years of software industry experience, most of them in California, Trond returned to Norway a few years ago and joined RoomSketcher as CEO in 2008. When he’s not working out the details of the next release or coming up with some new idea, you’ll find him playing European handball or jiving at a local concert.
Trine Bretteville
Trine joined RoomSketcher in 2010 after having run into Trond at a local concert (they’d worked together before). She now runs the sales and marketing department and uses every opportunity to spread the RoomSketcher love. When she’s not working, she’s skiing, hiking or biking in the woods depending on the season or baking some cake (her latest passion).
Sarah Voit
Sarah has joined our team all the way from Munich, Germany. She leads our support and services team, making sure all our customers get the help and follow-up they need to succeed with RoomSketcher. When she’s not at work, Sarah enjoys reading and traveling the world.
Benedicte
At RoomSketcher, Benedicte loves that she gets to combine marketing with a product she truly enjoys. When she´s not working you’ll find her walking her dog by the seaside, spending time with her friends and family, or hanging out in the jungle of plants that is her apartment.
Carolyn
Our California team member, Carolyn brings 20 years of software industry experience. When she’s not recording How To videos, testing software and coming up with ideas on how to improve the user experience, you’ll find her at the beach with her two boys – swimming, surfing, and stand up paddling.
Celine
After more than 5 years in Australia, Celine has returned to Norway and now combines her passion of interior design and marketing. When she’s not in the office, you’ll find her hanging out with her two girls, biking in the forest, or checking out the latest interior design trends.
Christian
Christian is our in-house UI expert, and knows our home design tool better than his back pocket. When he’s not deep in finding new ways to do old stuff, you’ll find him out and about sailing, climbing or running, or just lying on the couch reading a book.
Elin
Combining her experience as an interior-, web- and 3D-designer, Elin makes sure all RoomSketcher furniture projects always keeps the best quality. When she is not planning or modeling our next furniture release, you will find her in a milonga dancing tango, or out playing with her three children.
Erik
A Viking by blood and heritage, Erik is one of those true hunter-gatherer types. When he’s not catching fish with his bare hands, he writes code for RoomSketcher – something he is exceptionally good at. Need to check the call-back URL for one of the plugins? Well, Erik’s your man.
Flemming
Flemming is devoted to helping our customers get the most out of RoomSketcher. He loves to get in-depth with each person’s needs and queries. When he’s not working, he is busy creating music, working out and having fun with friends. He also enjoys traveling and experiencing new adventures.
Geir
With an extensive and diverse background from marketing and customer experience, Geir's passion is to ensure all communication and touch points you have with us are as smooth and relevant as possible. In his spare time he loves to spend time outdoors, take photos, fly his paraglider or just relax with friends.
Gitte
Gitte loves content creation and interior design and here at RoomSketcher she gets to combine these two passions. In her free time you will find her photographing, hanging out with her friends or travelling.
Hans Petter
Need help drawing something in RoomSketcher? Well then Hans Petter’s your man. He loves helping our users discover our features and get the most out of our software. When he’s not behind his computer, you’ll find him outdoors at the top of a mountain or cheering for Tottenham.
Ida
With wide experience within brand, marketing and communication from several industries, Ida works with her team to bring our content and marketing to the next level. She is a former European champion in kickboxing, and she's still got the fighter spirit. When OOO, she spends her time training, gardening, travelling or getting beaten in UNO by her six-year old.
Jon
Happiest when he’s sitting in the server room, software developer Jon is our “deploy man” and in-house jokester. If you’re not careful, he’ll take over your office and set up a new server there, just for fun. Outside the office, you’ll find him out flying his drone or running around the forest, geocaching, with his four kids.
Kristin
Kristin helps out with all things small and big around the office, including HR things, accounting, plus making sure we have a steady supply of fruit and chocolate to keep us going. In her spare time, Kristin sings in a choir, and enjoys hanging out at her seaside cabin.
Magnus
Magnus is our very own Salesforce Specialist and develops custom features for our sales and marketing team. Magnus loves to play video games with friends, enjoys delicious foods and likes long walks.
Marika
Marika has joined our team from Stockholm, Sweden. She thoroughly enjoys helping our customers getting the best experience out of RoomSketcher. During the day she answers any questions you might have over e-mail or phone. In her free time you usually find her reading a book, playing games or spending time with her friends.
